My dear students, let me share with you the most invaluable lessons that I have learned about poverty. That God is our only true TREASURE. As I have experienced material poverty early on in life, God enriched me with His greatness and love. I have realized that to be GREAT is to be EMPTY before GOD. PCP II articulates, “No one is so poor as to have nothing to give, and no one is so rich as to have nothing to receive”. In my own ways, even in material want, I have passionately tried to give the best of me. Being a child of God is not only to live for oneself but for others, too. So I challenge you now my dear students, what can you share to make a difference?
